Apis mellifera cecropia

Definition

The subspecies Apis mellifera cecropia Kiesenwetter, occurring throughout most Greece and surrounding Aegean islands, bordering A. mellifera macedonica in the northeast regions of Greece and A. mellifera carnica in the northwest corner of Greece.
